Plan Toys "Clatter" Review

My little one loves to play with her toys A LOT!  Sometimes now with the new house, both girls have their own rooms, and even though little one has multitudes of toys in her room, she really loves to sneak into her big sister's room and play with her toys.  There are times when I am walking down the hallway looking for her and there she is, sitting in her sister's room, toys all over one corner to the other.  I am really in love with wooden toys lately.  They are so well made and tend to last a lot longer than some of the cheaper, plastic toys do.  My little one has acquired a lot of wooden toys lately and seems to play with them quite a bit more than some of her other toys.  I was sent a really great toy from Plan Toys recently that she absolutely adores.  I was lucky enough to do a review for Plan Toys a little while back.  They have a wide variety of truly wonderful not to mention unique wooden toys that you can't find anywhere else.  I was sent a Clatter for review and I couldn't get it out of the box fast enough.  Little one had it in her hands and was playing with it before I could even get the chance to see what it was.  The Clatter is a toy with two handles and rainbow colored discs in the center of it that click when you hit them against each other.  It is a musical instrument of sorts, which little one is all about musical instruments lately as she has a flute, a drum and maracas.  The Clatter is great for ages 19 months plus and sparks a child's imagination and curiosity.  Little one loves her Clatter and plays with it on a daily basis.  I am amazed by the different sounds that it makes.  I can tell you for sure that this is a high-quality wooden product that is crafted with care and detail.  According to the Plan Toys site, this instrument goes from a gentle ripple to a clattering crescendo and everything in between.  This toy is a great learning tool for teaching kids music, colors and sounds.  The Clatter is an addition to other musical toys that Plan Toys has to offer including the Roller, Concertina, and Oval Xylophone.  To check out the Clatter and all of the other great toys that Plan Toys has to offer, head over HERE.
