Earthlust Review and Gveaway

We go through a lot of water bottles here in my house. A lot of the time, we reuse and refill them and put them back in the refrigerator. This makes for a lot of clutter sometimes and a lot of waste. I found a great company by the name of EarthLust, they specialize in 100% BPA Free, high quality, food grade, stainless steel bottles. I have had a chance on a couple of occasions to try the stainless steel bottles in smaller sizes, but EarthLust was very generous to send me a 1 Liter bottle in the Silver Crow design. These bottles are so neat looking and ideal for holding water or any other cold beverages that you like to take along with you. Stainless steel bottles are really the in thing right now because they are healthier, obviously less wasteful and so environmentally friendly. My oldest daughter thought that this bottle was for her, I told her that this was for me. With the first of the year here brings new changes and healthier options for me, this bottle is going to become my very best friend in the coming months. I have always been a HUGE soda drinker and drink very little water. I want to become healthy and lose weight for my new year's resolution and by using this wonderful bottle by EarthLust, I can accomplish that. This 1 liter bottle is definitely cool to the touch and keep my water cold and to me there's nothing better than a cold bottle of water to quench your thirst. EarthLust has some really cool designs in a variety of sizes from 13 oz bottles, to 20 oz bottles and 1 liter. They also carry 20 oz Insulated Mugs, which would be perfect for the hubby to take to work with him for his coffee. I also love that my EarthLust Stainless Steel bottle comes with a clip at the top of the bottle so you can clip it on your sports bag when you go to the gym, or your bike when you are heading out for a ride. I absolutely love my EarthLust bottle and look forward to using it for many months and years to come!

ABOUT EARTHLUST
EarthLust is a small company with a big mission: creating planet friendly, stainless steel bottles so durable, convenient and chic that consumers will never want to pick up another disposable water bottle ever again.
EarthLust serves up a fashionable and cost-effective way to drink filtered tap water on the go. Located in San Francisco, EarthLust produces a line of stainless steel bottles with a unique twist: safe materials and hip designs. EarthLust's bottles are high-quality, food grade bottles that don't require the petroleum-based lining found in the reusable aluminum water bottles. Earthlust's bottles are custom designed, no stock bottles, and feature limited edition, nature inspired art that is expertly designed by the owner of EarthLust, Alison Tryk. Alison's inspiration of creating this great line of products came after the birth of her son. From those beginnings, EarthLust custom bottles are featured at small boutiques, sporting goods stores, and online retailers nationwide. EarthLust's line of products has grown to feature hemp bottle insulators and sports tops, with a portion of the sames going toward leading environmental organizations such as the American Land Conservancy. EarthLust products have also been featured in celebrity gift bags at several events. These bottles also have non-toxic paints and are lead free!

Each and every year, Americans consume over $12 billion worth of bottled water. Over 80% of those bottles are never recycled, they overcrowd landfills and are the most commonly sighted man-made objects at sea. Plastic bottles are also not too friendly to consumers as far as cost. American consumers are paying billions for essentially the same water that pours out of their faucets. Add to that the harmful chemicals found in single-use bottles, the growing amount of energy used to produce and transport them-the equivalent of 50 million barrels of oil a year or more and the 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere from the manufacturing process. It takes plastic bottles over 700 years before they biodegrade.
