Around my house, everyone loves cookies. Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Sugar, we love them all. I make cookies quite often, whether it be just for the fun of it or for some church function, school function, or benefit, I have fun baking cookies. The oldest and I really enjoy making cookies together especially around Christmas time. I remember the good old days of grandma cookies tons of cookies in her little kitchen, making several different kinds and each and every batch made my hand. I loved living with her, she was always baking up something delicious. My father in law used to make my favorite cookies all of the time: Butterscotch Chip cookies. I don't know what he did to them, but they were always delicious and he would make special batches of them just for me. He baked a lot of cookies for the holidays and after he passed away, my hubby and I took over for a couple of years and made all of the cookies that he used to bake. We never realized just how much work he actually took into baking all of those cookies until we did it ourselves. My girls really love the cute and colorful cookies, you know the ones with all of the frosting and different colored sprinkles. The frosting is not overdone either and had a little bit of a crunch.
