One of the things that I really miss about our old house was being able to sit out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching the sailboats and fishing boats out on the water. Granted, our deck was pretty old and needed desperately to be rebuilt, it was just the concept of being out there and chilling out on a warm summer day. It felt great with the breeze coming off the lake and watching all of the people out on the lake enjoying their boats and jet skis, while having a couple of drinks with hubby and watching the girls play out in the yard. That was just so much fun. With the new house, we don't have a deck, just a big wooded backyard and a little gated in area where we can sit and just relax.
