One Year Blog Anniversary-Carolina Pad Review and Giveaway

Even though I don't go to school, I love to have a variety of "school supplies" around for myself to use.  I like to have folders to store all of my important papers and such in, a variety of notebooks that I can use for notes, to keep all of my reviews and important sites written in and a variety of pens and pencils to write everything down with.  I also like to keep sticky notes, markers, staplers, highlighters, etc. by my desk because I like to stay organized and you just never know when you are going to need something.  Soon, I will be buying my oldest daughter school supplies and as she advances further, she will start needing notebooks, folders, and knowing her lots and lots of pencils and/or pens.  There is a great place to find all of your school supply needs and you have to look no further than Carolina Pad.  I have been wanting to do a review for Carolina Pad for a long time now because they have several wonderful collections of not only school supplies, but office supplies as well.  They products from Carolina Pad are colorful and stylish and not your everyday ordinary school and office supplies, they feature collections that are whimsical, fun, elegant, playful and so much more.  I was sent two great notebooks from the Tiki Lounge Collection and two neat binders from the Times Square Collection.

Carolina Pad has some great stylish designs just for the summer.  Whether you are heading back to school in the fall or want to use them now, it is totally up to you.  The notebooks from the Tiki Lounge Collection are perfect for those of us who only are able to dream of going on a tropical get-away or a beautiful beach somewhere.  The beautiful and colorful designs of bright pink on the front remind me of Hawaii with it's lovely flowers.  You will love these notebooks when you take them out to write in them.  There is definitely plenty of room and with all of the sheets of paper, you will be able to write anything you like.  The covers of these notebooks are extremely sturdy and you can even wipe them clean.  I love that they are double spiral, which for me is good because I write kind of big, so it gives me the room that I need.  They also have a great elastic band on the outside so you can keep you notebooks closed when they are not in use, or for me keep little nosy kids and hubby out of my business!

Looking to travel stateside?  Want to head on over to the city?  The Times Square Collection of binders may be just what you are looking for.  Colorful dots and bold stripes makes this collection perfect for those of us that love the city life over anything else.  I love these binders because I can fit a lot of notebook paper in them and there is also a pocket on each side of the binder to put important papers and such in.  These binders just like the notebooks are high quality and sturdy for everyday use.  I haven't used a binder since I was in high school, so these were a real treat to use because I had a few packages of notebook paper that was just sitting around that I put into each one of the binders as well as some of my review papers in the pockets.  I love the fact that you can clean these as well from all of the marker or pens marks that may find their way onto them.  These new collections are a must have!

Carolina Pad begins it's story back in 1945 when several business associates and a very well determined man managed to scrape up enough money and equipment to launch a school supply manufacturing company.  This new company, which was Carolina Pad, offered composition books, notebook paper, primary tablets, pencils, crayons and other school supplies.  In 2000, Carolina Pad helped to transform the stationery industry by introducing fashion school and office supplies.  In the 1980's and 1990's, Carolina Pad was like many other paper product manufacturers where they faced stiff competition and declining profits.  In 2000, they realized that they had to shift from manufacturing products to designing them.  It was in 2003, that they expanded internationally.

Today, Carolina Pad products rock-at least that's what their customers say and I would definitely have to agree!  With their trendy design and great function, Carolina Pad notebooks, binders and other school and office supplies really stand out from the crowd.  You might catch a glimpse of their other collections such as Hot Chocolate (which is my personal favorite) and Pattern Play on hot TV shows such as Greek, 90210 (who doesn't love that show!) and Gossip Girl.

What is the secret to Carolina Pad's success?  Passion, research, and complete attention to detail.  They sweat the small stuff because they know that it's the little things that truly do count.  Their team of talented designers led by their Signature and very first designer Jaqueline Savage McFee, stays on top of the fashion trends and makes sure that each product detail is perfect.  From concept type to prototype, innovation team managers use the latest research to develop school and office supplies that consumers love.

Their portfolio of brands now includes: Studio C, Note2Self, Funanoodle, Sasquatch, u:create, and Ghostline.  You can find a great variety of Carolina Pad products not only online HERE but at great retailers such as Walmart, Target, Meijer, Staples and Walgreens just to name a few across Canad, Mexico, and Europe.  From posterboard, to bags and totes to writing accessories and calenders, Carolina Pad has exactly what you need and what you are looking for.  For more information and to check out all of the wonderful products that Carolina Pad has to offer, please head over HERE.  Spend $40 at the online store and get free shipping!
