Perennial Toys Review and Giveaway

My oldest daughter LOVES to color and draw, she has a ton of coloring books and several sets of crayons. She also loves to paint with watercolor paints, we call her our budding artist. When I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, I was really into coloring books and crayons myself. I would pull out my coloring books and crayons as well as colored pencils almost on a daily basis, for some reason it really seemed to calm me down and really relax me. To this day, I still have my very own collection of coloring books and crayons in my hallway closet that I love to pull out from time to time and sit down with my oldest daughter at the kitchen table for some quality time. We have such a great time together coloring our pictures, laughing, and showing each other our "masterpieces." My oldest daughter also loves reading books and watching shows about animals. We watch Animal Planet and the Discover Channel quite frequently and she loves to go to the library and check out some books about some of her favorite animals such as dolphins, elephants, and of course dogs. I found a great store online called Perennial Toys that combines my daughter's love for coloring along with her love of learning about animals. They have some really unique and one of a kind gift sets and products that are fun. I was sent a Narwhal Starter Set which includes a narwhal animal perfect for the bathtub, an iceberg that you can play with in the bathtub, a magnet for the fridge, crayons, and a mini coloring book all in a reusable zippered mesh bag. Now for those of you like me who don't know exactly what a narwhal is, it is a medium sized toothed whale that lives year round in the Arctic. This is a great set and has some really fun and interesting facts in the coloring book. The Narwhal animal is soft but squishy and has a sisal belly that is good for scrubbing and washing while your little ones are in the tub or maybe even the shower. My little one stole the Narwhal animal from her sister, but I let the oldest know that at least she got the crayons and coloring book, which has some really nice illustrations and pictures to color, and that she had to share. I was excited to find Perennial Toys because they have other great starter sets such as a Polar Bear set and a King Eider set, which a King Eider is a large sea duck, something else I didn't know before going here. You will be amazed at what you will find at Perennial Toys! They also have a great River Otter Coloring & Activity Book and a my Arctic 1-2-3. You can also build your own gift sets and get some wonderful pails that include a lot of fun activities and things to do for your kids. Your children will love getting something from Perennial Toys because not only will they have fun playing but fun learning as well. My girls love the Narwhal starter set. If your child enjoys learning about Arctic animals, their habitats and the people who live there, you will want to check out Perennial Toys, you will be glad you did!
