Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. Review and Giveaway

You all know my love of candles as I have been fortunate enough to review quite a few different ones from some great small and large online candle shops.  I have candles in pretty much every room in the house with the exception of course being the girls' rooms.  Candles create a beautiful aroma as well a ambiance for every room in your home and really make your home inviting when one is burning.  I have had friends and family walk into my house and ask what scents I have burning at that particular time.  I love candles of all scents and love receiving them for holidays, birthdays, or maybe just a special gift.  I never knew that there were so many places to get candles.  I was lucky enough recently to come across Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. and I just had to contact them.  I love their site because it is so original and easy to navigate, not to mention just plain fun.  Their specialty is hand poured soy candles in a can with colorful labels and one of a kind scents that will make you want to try each and everyone.  I received two great candles for review:

*Coco Loco (Coconut Lime Verbena)- I absolutely love the scent of lime and upon opening the top of this candle, you get the sweet smell of lime and coconut which smells just wonderful.  Lighting this candle makes it even better, the smell is strong enough to fill the room.  These candles burn clean because they are soy and last a long time, even though I have burned mine almost daily, I still have quite a bit left.  The colorful brown and green label is really eye catching and makes everyone stop and take a look.  I have to admit, I have tried a lot of candles out on the market, but this candle is by far the best that I have had the honor of burning.

*Chamomile- There is something calming and relaxing about Chamomile.  I have given little one and even the oldest when she was a baby a chamomile and lavender bath.  This candle definitely has the same tendencies, it's scent fills the whole house (this candle is a little bigger and has two wicks) and has a great long lasting and definitely relaxing scent.  The can is decorated with a bright pink and green label with cute little spring flowers.  This candle also contained an inspirational quote "The Earth Laughs In Flowers", what a true saying.  I just love this candle as well, I have a feeling that I would love any candle from Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co.

With unique scents like Cure In A Can, which is spring tulip scented and part of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer charities, Elk Poop In A Can, which is Chocolate Biscotti scented, and Love In A Can, which is Strawberry Shortcake scented, you are sure to find something different and something that you will completely fall in love with at Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co.  I am so excited to try some new scents around my house.  They also have a couple of fun, innovative products that I have never seen anywhere else.  Sprout is a candle that you can burn that is in a 99% recyclable glass container.  Then after the candle is gone, you can plant wheatgrass seeds that are included with your candle purchase.  Watch them grow, no soil is needed, just water!  How ingenious is this idea?  They also have a great line of Spark candles, that are a 16 oz. soy candles tin with an inspiring quote.  Also be sure to check out their line of charity candles, wholesale, and fundraising opportunities.

The candles from Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. are 100% soy wax not paraffin and have been hand poured and double scented.  The wicks are also lead free cotton and the tins and lids are meant to be reused.  These candles are poured with lots of love and friendly ingredients for the earth and it's creatures.  They are also members of 1% for the Planet.  For more information and to check out all the great products that Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. has to offer, please head over HERE.
