Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk with DHA-Omega 3 Review and Giveaway

I absolutely LOVE chocolate milk, it is such a satisfying, delicious and creamy treat. For me, there's nothing better at the end of the day to unwind than a tall glass of chocolate milk. My little one loves it too and we order it for her quite frequently at a restaurant when we head out for dinner. The oldest of course loves having her chocolate milk too. We have tried a lot of brands and a lot of different varieties including Dutch chocolate, dark chocolate and double chocolate. We have also tried a lot of mixes and syrups that you add to your milk, sometimes adding more mix than milk. I tend to find that unfortunately a lot of brands have a lot of added sugar to their milk. So I was excited when I was offered the opportunity to try a new product out on the market called Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk. I have ALWAYS been a milk drinker as well as an occasional chocolate milk drinker, but have never tried organic milk. I figured it was organic not only was it good for you, but it had to taste good too right. From my first sip of the Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk, I was completely and totally hooked. It had a delicious chocolate flavor, and why wouldn't it? They use REAL cocoa! This isn't artificial tasting or chalky and is just overall full of flavor. My two girls absolutely loved this milk as well and couldn't seem to get enough of it. I loved it because aside from the great chocolate taste, it wasn't too sweet as some other chocolate milks that I have had in the past. As a mom, I am always looking for healthier alternatives and options to some of the foods that not only my girls eat and want but for us as parents as well. You want nothing but the best for your kids and to keep them healthy. Giving them milk like Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk that is fortified with DHA and Omega 3 certainly does just that. DHA is an Omega 3 fatty acid and is a key structural component of the brain thought to aid in the proper function of brain, heart and eye development and health. This is a great treat that I can feel good about giving my kids and myself. Each cup only contains 170 calories and 3 grams of fat. Even though it is a little pricier that other chocolate milk that you may buy, it is definitely worth the money and something that I will splurge on on a regular basis for my family and myself.
