My oldest daughter is a budding artist, she loves to color, draw and paint anything and everything that she can get her hands on. She's also starting to be a little fashion designer of sorts, although I wish she would take more time on her own appearance sometimes. I can't begin to tell you how many sets of markers, colored pencils, chalk and crayons that we have bought her. She has a tendency to break crayons a lot or chew on colored pencils, I can never figure out why she does it. I found the BEST little Etsy store where I can find her the cutest, most unique and unbreakable crayons that I know she will not only be able to use, but love to use as well. It's called Gaddy Nipper Crayons and they have some really cool crayons in all different shades and styles to keep your artists entertained. I was sent the cutest little set of Cupcake Crayons for review. Upon opening the box, if you didn't know these were crayons, you would think they were indeed little cupcakes. They were attractively packaged and complete with the little paper wrappers that come on the bottom of the cupcakes. They come in two pieces, the cupcake top (which I have always found to be the tastiest part of the cupcake, what's better than frosting?!) and bottom so it's almost like getting 12 crayons instead of 6. My oldest daughter was so excited when she got these, she couldn't wait to try them out. I almost didn't want her to use them, they were too adorable. She did end up using them to make some fantastic pictures and color in her coloring books. She has used them so much that they are almost gone! I actually got a chance to test them out, the colors are vibrant and they really made great marks. Gaddy Nipper Crayons are handmade, hand poured and non-toxic and if you don't see something that you like at the site, you can contact them and they'll see what they can do for you, talk about great customer service, Nichole was a pleasure to work with.
