I love maple, maple syrup, maple candles, maple anything, it is a wonderful flavor and a wonderful scent. I can honestly say in all of my years that I have never had true maple syrup...until now. I had the opportunity recently to sample some delicious maple treats from Coombs Family Farms. They specialize in 100% Pure Maple Syrup, maple sugar, maple candy and even maple pancakes. Coombs sent me a nice package with a bottle of their famous maple syrup, a bag of maple sugar and a piece of their maple candy. I wanted so much to tear into that maple candy right away, but when I get things for review, I love to share them with my family, that way you not only get my opinions on the products, but you get the opinions of my family as well. So I waited somewhat patiently and we all had a little piece of maple candy later that night. All I can say is absolutely delicious! It is quite sweet, but the maple flavor definitely shines in this candy. The next day, we all had waffles and had to test out the maple syrup. I was so excited to try this product out and it definitely did not disappoint. This syrup was so good and the maple flavor was absolutely amazing and fresh. You could tell by tasting this syrup that Coombs had been doing this for quite a while, the flavor and quality was definitely there. My whole family absolutely loved this pure maple syrup and we were all so impressed. The maple sugar was also very yummy. We sprinkle a little bit of it on our ham for Christmas and what a difference it made in the overall flavor. It added a lit bit of sweetness with the smoky flavor that we added and our whole family really enjoyed the ham. We were asked what we did differently as we usually always do something with our ham every year. We told them about the Coombs Family Farms Maple Sugar that we had added to our ham and they wanted more information. Coombs Family Farms was so gracious to send me a wonderful folder not only filled with information on their company but some delicious recipes. I shared this with my family and they were so impressed. This is an absolutely wonderful company with products that anyone would be proud to use.
