I recently had the pleasure and great opportunity of trying out some of the wonderful teas that two leaves and a bud had to offer. I must admit, I absolutely love trying new flavors of tea and especially when they are all organic. After a rough and tough day with life and the kids, there's nothing better than a nice hot cup of tea to unwind and relax. If you want a good tea that makes you feel warm and comfortable inside and out, you have to try these teas!
two leaves and a bud have such a wide range of tea to soothe every mood: from black teas, to green teas, white teas and herbals teas: they even have loose leaf teas and tea sachets. They also have fruit teas and peppermint teas among others.
Here's a little info about two leaves and a bud:
Founder Richard Rosenfeld traveled extensively in Asia and India but found himself frustrated by the lack of good tea in North America. He started two leaves and a bud to bring great teas to tea drinkers around here.
two leaves and a bud is based in Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado, just down the road from Aspen.
They have received praise and awards from around the world including a Best New Tea award for 2005-2206 from the Specialty Coffee Association of the United States. In 2006, their Earl Grey Tea won the People's Choice Award at the Great Canadian Tea Steep Off.
two leaves and a bud co. proudly supports many local charities as well as provides donations to fund-raising events across the country. Their contributions range from Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, National Public Radio, Slow Food USA and various education, art, and youth programs as well as community health programs and centers.
I had the pleasure of getting a terrific box with 15 different samples of tea and I tried the Organic Mountain High Chai. Upon opening up the package, you get this wonderful aroma of spice: cinnamon and nutmeg. It smelled heavenly! It only took 3 minutes to "steep" and good thing because I couldn't wait to drink it. It tasted delicious, almost like a dessert tea, full of flavor. I also tried the Jasmine Tea, which was delicious also. This was a smooth and rlaxing tea, definitely one that you would come home and drink after a hard, stressful day.
two leaves and a bud teas are USDA Organic and they use only the finest teas, grown in single geographic regions, using traditional growing methods. The quialty of tea varies from hillside to hillside. Their experienced tasters select only the finest growers to bring you the tastiest teas and herbal infusions. They never blend with less expensive "filler teas". The finest teas start with just the very small blossoms, the Two Leaves and Bud of the tea flower. They named their company
for these shoots which are the essence of great tea.
Head on over to http://www.twoleavesandabud.com/ and check out their great selection of teas! You will have to get some and if you join their mailing list, you will get 10% off!
Their motto: a better cuppa tea.
