Sometimes, it's hard for my oldest daughter to squeeze out her toothpaste in the morning. The tube especially when it is almost empty provides a big challenge for her. She has to put the toothbrush down on the sink and squeeze the toothpaste onto the toothbrush and she always makes a mess. Same thing goes for Ketchup and Mustard. Now, I know what you're saying, I could do it for her, but I like her to be independent and she wants to be independent and do a lot of things on her own. That's why I was really glad to find Spread Heads. Spread Heads are a kids best helper when it comes to toothpaste, ketchup and mustard. They are cool and goofy looking little character toppers that you put on the end of your toothpaste tubes and/or tops of ketchup and mustard bottles. My oldest daughter thought these were so cool when she opened the package and couldn't wait to try them, so of course we put Toothpaste Pete on our tube and she used it right away. It was really easy to use as the toothpaste comes out of the small opening of the character's mouth. You can close the cap by putting the characters "hand" in it's mouth although it is recommended to use the original cap for storage. My daughter loved using Pete and still uses him everyday. This is such a cool idea for kids, makes them feel like they can do stuff on their own. Of course, a few days later when we had hot dogs for dinner we used Ketchup Charlie, who is definitely one wild looking character! This was the first time that my oldest put her own ketchup on her hot dog and she got so excited. These are deinitely wonderful little guys to help your child help not only themselves out but you too. The folks at Spread Heads were so generous to send us all four of their products which also included Mustard Marvin and Toothpaste Oscar. These little guys are so reasonably priced at $3.99, you will want to pick up all four for your kids or maybe yourself!
Spread Heads was most recently featured on the Today show where they were demonstrated by Kathie Lee Gifford. They were also featured On Rachael Ray with guest Joan Rivers. They are designed to fit most standard condiment bottles.
