Cowgirls Chocolates Review and Giveaway

I recently had the opportunity to try some unique and delicious chocolates from a company called Cowgirl Chocolates. These aren't your ordinary everyday chocolates, these are WAY different. I was sent a sampler pack, a little taste of everything. Let me tell you, the packaging is very attractive. They came in the cutest red box, wrapped with ribbon and a little cowboy (or cowgirl) boot charm. Each piece of candy is wrapped in a different color of foil wrapper so and came with a little card, so you know what you're biting into beforehand. I love to share with my family, but once I opened up the box to see all of these pretty and neatly little wrapped candies, I had to have one! Of course, as excited as I was to try these little niblets, I didn't look at the card and bit into a Raspberry Dark Chocolate. It was delicious, but had a spicy bite to it. Now I know what you're thinking, spicy and chocolate, a weird combination. Not so! It was an explosion on the taste buds for sure. I was impressed with the flavors that were going on all at once. Little did I know that the truffle that I ate had some Cayenne Pepper in it. WOW! These little chocolates are truly delicious, perfect if you like sweet and spicy foods. Cowgirl Chocolates has a wide selection of different chocolates-some spicy like the one I had and they also have a Double Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Milk Chocolate and Cappuccino Truffle that are all sweet and spicy. I had a chance to try them all and my favorite still went back to the first, the Raspberry Dark Chocolate. They also have a Habanero Caramel that is truly out of this world. If you love chocolates without the spice, Cowgirl Chocolates also had some mild truffles like Milk Chocolate, Ivory Orange, which is heavenly, and a Raspberry Lemon, which is really yummy! I really enjoyed reviewing these chocolates, absolutely divine!

The Cowgirl Chocolates story started in 1995, when Marilyn-the head cowgirl-took some time off from her art career to begin experimenting in her kitchen. The result was COWGIRL CHOCOLATES. Way back then, nobody was combining chocolate with spices. Marilyn and her crew called it the "Cowgirl Kick". The chocolates began to win awards in national competitions, they were featured on the Food Channel and CNBC and started to ship their chocolates around the world. Cowgirl Chocolates pioneering spirit caught on and other companies later joined the wagon train in spicy chocolate and candies.

Cowgirl Chocolates offer a wide range of products aside from the spicy and mild truffles. They also have candy bars,high-cocoa organic chocolate daisies, caramels, brittles, cocoa, special gift baskets, art and other gifts. You're sure to find something for everyone on your Christmas List.
