Relish Review and Giveaway

OK, I admit it, I am not the greatest cook and I certainly have a hard time coming up with new meal ideas. Sometimes it's even hard for me to come up with a grocery list, I always seem to forget something! I was contacted a little while back by Relish, a great place to go where they not only help you plan some healthy meals, but they also give you the items that you need to get from the grocery store. They offered me a free one month membership to check out what they had to offer. Let me tell ya, I was quite impressed.
The way Relish works is that you first start with how many people you are serving. In my house we have 4 (or 3 1/2, not like little one eats a whole lot!). The you create your menu. They have quick meal ideas called Dine and Dash and everything is coded for example: KF-Kid Friendly, V-Vegetarian, Q-Quick and my favorite C-Crock Pot, plus many more so you can customize your meals to your taste. You choose 5 from the 15 entrees that they have to offer (these entrees selections change all of the time). You also get to pick one dessert as well. After you make your selections, they give you a list of ingredients that you may already have and things you need as well as the complete recipes so you know exactly how to make them. I absolutely love this service and can't imagine being without it now. I may not be the best cook, but now I have more ideas instead of the same old Hamburger Helper and frozen meals.

Relish also gives you tailgating menus and ideas, new lunch menus and ideas, appetizers and even Dinner and a Movie ideas. The great thing is with Relish, 5 dinners and sides cost less than $85 at the grocery store. For me that is wonderful savings, we usually spend about $150.00 a week. This service is truly amazing and you definitely have to check it out more to appreciate it.

Relish was founded by Ann Bender and Karen Hutcherson, two Colorado Moms who found themselves in the "what's for dinner trap". They both loved to cook, but didn't have the time to go through cookbooks and magazines looking for new recipes and evening meals ideas. They also often found themselves at the grocery store several times a week. Family dinners are becoming a thing of the past and they vowed to develop quick and easy dinner ideas. Whether you're empty nesters or a hectic family, a healthy, good tasting dinner shouldn't be out of reach-and that's how Relish was begun.
If you have a goal of getting organized, and enjoying your dinner hour rather than dreading it, and you also want to utilize fresh and healthy ingredients as well as instill good eating habits with your kids, than you have to give Relish a try. You are GUARANTEED not to go back to your old ways!
One of the best aspects of Relish is the stringest meal testing programs. Master cook Gwenn Wilson offers her wisdom and shortcuts to assure that every meal is uncomplicated, gourmet and delicious.

Relish is inexpensive too and in the long run worth EVERY penny you will save. Subscription rates are:
3 Month subscription: $21.00
6 Month Subscription-$35.70(15% savings)
1 Year Subscription-$58.80(30% savings)
A Relish subscription costs $7 a month and monthly freezer menus are included in the subscription. They also have GFree-a menu planning service for Gluten free living.

Relish would help me by making a menu for a week and only going shopping once a week. I love using the crock pot because it's so easy.

This would make my life easier with quicker meals and an actual plan to follow. Anything in a crockpot is my favorite.

This would be sooo great!
Right now we are trying to find really good freezer recipes and crock pot recipes. Three days a week both parents are out of the house working for a total of 11 hours, and on those days, we need dinner to pretty much make itself!
