Aquamantra Natural Spring Water Review and Giveaway

Well, the warm weather is upon us as is evident today.  With temperatures in the mid to upper 80's and the humidity starting to creep in, you definitely get the sense that summer is fast approaching.  With the warm weather, I love to keep up on my water intake, but sometimes the water from the tap just doesn't satisfy me enough.  At times, you can taste the chemicals in it and for my family and I, that just isn't going to do.  We buy a lot of bottled water, but I'm sure you have all heard the stories of the plastic bottles filling our landfills and dumps.  We do a lot of recycling fortunately with our bottles, so I feel a little better.  I was excited when I was contacted by Aquamantra recently about doing a review for their great line of natural spring water.  What exactly is Aquamantra you ask?  Aquamantra is Premium Natural Spring Water that is simply water that resonates with the energy and frequency of your well being.  The quality of your thoughts determine the quality of your life and now your water.  They deliver powerful messages on their bottles such as I AM LOVED, I AM GRATEFUL, I AM LUCKY, and I AM HEALTHY.  These bottles are so colorful and I absolutely love the messages they are so powerful and truthful.  The water itself was delicious especially nice and cold pulled out of the freezer for about a half an hour.  To me there is nothing better than an ice cold bottle of water and this was so fresh tasting and good.  I was excited to receive a case of this water for my review-12 bottles that were half Mini Mantra bottles, which are 500ml and half the 1L Bottles.  I have shared the minis with my oldest and youngest as they both drink a lot of water, which is really good for them.  Once in a while, the oldest will get a soda from time to time, but she really prefers water.  As a mom, you can't argue with that, I will give her water over sugary drinks all of the time.  She really liked the bottles and I made it a point to give her the I AM LOVED bottle of water as we were heading out to her soccer game last week.  She thought that was really cool.  Aquamantra is the FIRST EVER company to put their water in 100% Biodegradable and Recyclable plastic bottles and for me that is absolutely perfect.  The water is very fresh tasting and absolutely the purest that I have had the pleasure of drinking.  It is so clean and refreshing, you won't want to go back to drinking your tap water much less anything else. This is definitely water you will FEEL good about drinking. Invigorating is another word that I would use about Aquamantra.  You can not only feel proud about drinking this water based on the quality of the product, but you can know you are doing something great to help the environment as well.

Aquamantra was inspired by a 2004 movie entitled What the Bleep Do We Know?   This movie discussed the underlying quantum mechanics of our world and showed how reality is changed with every thought.  Dr. Masaru Emoto, who was featured in this film, wrote a book called "Hidden Messages in the Water" where he showed the basic principles of quantum theory where the molecular structure of water was changed by a Zen Buddist monk's thoughts.  It was based on this premise that Aquamantra uses the designs on it's labels to affect the molecular structure of California natural spring water to make it more refreshing and wholesome to drink.  Each bottle features custom created from local O.C artists and a portion of the revenues from each mantra are reserved for a variety of charities.  Infused with positive energies and powerful mantras, Aquamantra can truly stimulate your soul.  Their purpose in creating this water is to Raise Consciousness in Humanity One Sip At a Time, so you can drink yourself into being Healthy, Loved or Lucky with every sip.

In February of 2007, Aquamantra won "The Best Tasting Bottled Water" in an International Bottled Water competition, out of 23 countries and 50 other applicants.  You can buy Aquamantra water directly online HERE.  It is also available at Whole Foods and Albertsons.  For more information on Aquamantra, please head over HERE.

eatwhatever Review and Giveaway

I chew a lot of gum, breath mints, and always seem to pop in Tic Tacs, Jolly Ranchers, or any other kind of small candy to keep my breath feeling clean as well as my mouth feel moist.  My mouth always seems to be dry, not sure what the deal is.  I always seem to have something on hand and when I don't I am always pestering my sister in law for mints, especially in church.  If there is one thing that I am extremely afraid of, it's bad breath.  Bad breath is not only embarrassing, but it can give a bad impression of you to others.  It is especially bothersome after eating Italian food because of the amount of different spices and garlic that is involved in these particular foods.  I recently had an opportunity to try a great new product that can help anyone that worries about bad breath feel confident.  The product is called eatwhatever, just the name itself eases my fears.  This is a unique and one of a kind product that is sugar free and contains organic oils to help keep your breath fresh and even kissable.  The concept behind eatwhatever is simple: each package contain 10 mints that you can put in your mouth to make it feel refreshed and moisten, and 10 jellies that you swallow with water.  The jellies are made with organic peppermint and parsley seed oils and it is these oils that work from the inside to make your breath kissable and your tummy calm.  The sugar free mints give you instant minty breath while you wait for those jellies to do their thing.  I found this to definitely be an interesting concept and I was really excited to give it a try .  I wanted my hubby to give it a try as well and being the skeptic that he is, I was a little worried that he wouldn't go for it.  I was sent a full size package of eatwhatever and a few sample packages that contain one mint and two gel caps in it.  I figured a great time to use these was one night after we had a delicious taco meal.  Hubby loves onions so this was the one time I told him to completely load up his tacos with his beloved onions so we could really see just how well the eatwhatever products actually worked.  After dinner as the package suggests, we each took two of the vegan jellies with some water which are easy to swallow and then immediately put the mint in our mouth and let it do it's thing while we got the girls in the tub and cleaned up the kitchen.  The mint is very delicious and makes your mouth feel fresh and clean.  As soon as we were done getting things done around the house, I walked up to hubby to see if all I could smell was onions.  I was amazed to smell clean, fresh and minty breath.  This is really an amazing products and I was truly blown away by how well it works in two easy steps.  Make sure to swallow the jellies, DON"T CHEW THEM!   If you want to feel confident and have great refreshing breath, then eatwhatever is definitely something you should try.  This product doesn't just mask bad breath, it takes care of it completely from the inside out and gives you a great sense of confidence.  They are so easy to carry along with you in your purse, in that secret compartment in the car, or even in your pocket.  It's fun to go ahead and indulge in your favorite foods and not be worried when you are having lunch with your girlfriends or your favorite guy.  It's OK to eat that salad with the extra onions and extra helping of Italian dressing or the plate of pasta with garlic and meat sauce, as long as you have eatwhatever along with you, you won't have to worry about any of that again!

You can purchase eatwhatever products at select stores worldwide or online.  For more information and to check out these miracle products, please head over HERE.

Five Question Fridays

I just love finding new and exciting things on other blogs and this one is no exception.  It's called Five Question Fridays and I have loved reading all of the different answers to these.  Please let me know if you post this on your blog, I would love to read what you have to say as well. :)

1. Do you have an iPhone and, if so, how do you get apps and what are your favorites? No, I unfortunately don't have an iPhone and don't have any intentions of getting one.  Believe it or not, I am not that popular so I really have no need for one, even though they do look kind of cool.  Can't believe all of the great apps that they have for it.

2. What is your fondest memory of K-3rd grade?  I loved Kindergarten, my teacher was the best.  As of a fondest memory, it would have to be 3rd grade, when I got into a lot of trouble and was even suspended for a couple of days.  Back then, they had what they called in school suspension so I still had to go to school and spend my days in a room with other troublemakers doing my school work all day long.  I even had to eat lunch in there.  What did I do to get into trouble?  I wrote a obscenity laced note about my 3rd grade teacher whom I just did not like and he found it and put it in his top desk drawer.  At recess, a friend of mine and I tried to steal it out of his desk and got caught.  That was the last time I ever got into trouble at school.
3. What makes you cringe at the thought of touching? I am not too afraid, but I hate bees and hate the thought of picking up even a dead one with a paper towel or napkin for fear it will still sting me.  When I was a kid, I was stung by several bees in the face and my face swelled up pretty bad.  Guess I still have a fear of them after all of these years.

4. If you could have any celebrity show up at your doorstep, who would it be and why?  Gosh this is a hard one, but if I could have someone show up on my door (if not the Publisher's Clearing House guy with a $10 million dollar check), then it would for sure have to be Peyton Manning.  I am a huge football nut and an even bigger Indianapolis Colts fan, besides having a HUGE crush on Mr. Manning.  I think he would be fun to hang out with (example: the credit card and Oreo commercials).

5. What would you say is your best physical feature? My eyes, I think.

Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. Review and Giveaway

You all know my love of candles as I have been fortunate enough to review quite a few different ones from some great small and large online candle shops.  I have candles in pretty much every room in the house with the exception of course being the girls' rooms.  Candles create a beautiful aroma as well a ambiance for every room in your home and really make your home inviting when one is burning.  I have had friends and family walk into my house and ask what scents I have burning at that particular time.  I love candles of all scents and love receiving them for holidays, birthdays, or maybe just a special gift.  I never knew that there were so many places to get candles.  I was lucky enough recently to come across Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. and I just had to contact them.  I love their site because it is so original and easy to navigate, not to mention just plain fun.  Their specialty is hand poured soy candles in a can with colorful labels and one of a kind scents that will make you want to try each and everyone.  I received two great candles for review:

*Coco Loco (Coconut Lime Verbena)- I absolutely love the scent of lime and upon opening the top of this candle, you get the sweet smell of lime and coconut which smells just wonderful.  Lighting this candle makes it even better, the smell is strong enough to fill the room.  These candles burn clean because they are soy and last a long time, even though I have burned mine almost daily, I still have quite a bit left.  The colorful brown and green label is really eye catching and makes everyone stop and take a look.  I have to admit, I have tried a lot of candles out on the market, but this candle is by far the best that I have had the honor of burning.

*Chamomile- There is something calming and relaxing about Chamomile.  I have given little one and even the oldest when she was a baby a chamomile and lavender bath.  This candle definitely has the same tendencies, it's scent fills the whole house (this candle is a little bigger and has two wicks) and has a great long lasting and definitely relaxing scent.  The can is decorated with a bright pink and green label with cute little spring flowers.  This candle also contained an inspirational quote "The Earth Laughs In Flowers", what a true saying.  I just love this candle as well, I have a feeling that I would love any candle from Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co.

With unique scents like Cure In A Can, which is spring tulip scented and part of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer charities, Elk Poop In A Can, which is Chocolate Biscotti scented, and Love In A Can, which is Strawberry Shortcake scented, you are sure to find something different and something that you will completely fall in love with at Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co.  I am so excited to try some new scents around my house.  They also have a couple of fun, innovative products that I have never seen anywhere else.  Sprout is a candle that you can burn that is in a 99% recyclable glass container.  Then after the candle is gone, you can plant wheatgrass seeds that are included with your candle purchase.  Watch them grow, no soil is needed, just water!  How ingenious is this idea?  They also have a great line of Spark candles, that are a 16 oz. soy candles tin with an inspiring quote.  Also be sure to check out their line of charity candles, wholesale, and fundraising opportunities.

The candles from Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. are 100% soy wax not paraffin and have been hand poured and double scented.  The wicks are also lead free cotton and the tins and lids are meant to be reused.  These candles are poured with lots of love and friendly ingredients for the earth and it's creatures.  They are also members of 1% for the Planet.  For more information and to check out all the great products that Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. has to offer, please head over HERE.

GIVEAWAY-
Mountain Mama's Kitchen Co. would love to give one lucky Mommy2TwoGirls readers TWO of their wonderful candles:Aloha (Coconut Hibiscus) and Juicy (Fruit Slices). (approx value $24.00)

Michael Season's Review and Giveaway

We love to snack around our house quite a bit and are always looking for healthier alternatives of doing so. Yes, we love our sweets like Ice Cream or maybe a cookie, but for the most part we do what we can to be healthy. In a world full of obesity, sometimes it's really hard to stick to a strict regimen without letting go once in a while. My girls love going out for an ice cream treat once in a while and believe anything is OK in moderation. One of our very favorite snacks is chips, crackers, and my girls love cheese puffs. There is a great snack that is satisfying as well as good for you. I had the opportunity recently to review some delicious snacks from Michael Season's. I had never seen Michael Season's snacks anywhere until I started blogging and reading other blogs. There was nothing but really great reviews and giveaways linked to Michael Season's so I was excited to be able to try them for myself. I was sent the following products for review:

*Hot Chili Pepper Curls-Looking for a cheese snack with a kick, this baked cheddar snack will satisfy your craving.

*White Cheddar Pops-Healthy snack alternative, 50% less fat than regular white cheddar pops.

*Jalapeno Puffs-Perfect balance between real cheddar cheese and the simple heat of Jalapeno Peppers, 50% less fat.

*Cheddar Cheese Puffs-Baked Cheddar Puff with 65% less fat than the regular cheddar puff. You will love this all natural, wheat free, gluten free snack. Made with real cheese and organic cornmeal, this will be you new favorite snack!
*Cheddar Cheese Curls-Looking for a cheese snack but not all that fat, 50% less fat than the regular cheese curls. Baked crunchy cheddar curl will satisfy your craving, all natural, wheat free, gluten free and made with real cheese.

Let me tell you, we definitely enjoyed all of these snacks and love the fact that they are all baked and never fried. The oldest is starting to get into spicy foods so she was most excited to try the Jalapeno Puffs. Sometimes we have an easy dinner of sandwiches and chips, especially on night when the oldest has soccer practice, so these snacks were a perfect addition to that dinner. She really enjoyed her Jalapeno Puffs as did her dad, who really loves spicy foods. I tried a couple myself and they were delicious not to mention really crunchy. If you love foods with a little kick to them, you will definitely LOVE these. The White Cheddar Pops were my favorite, I love anything cheese but White Cheddar is one of my favorite cheeses out there. These were really light, airy and crispy snacks and I can tell you little one surely liked them, she couldn't get enough! The Cheddar Puffs were my oldest daughter's favorite and she ended up taking most of the bag with her to school with her lunches. She told me she shared some of them with her friends at lunchtime and they thought that they were really yummy. The Cheddar Cheese Curls were really delish too, crispy, crunchy and full of cheese flavor, I put these out at a family cookout that we had at our house and they went really fast. My hubby's favorite was definitely the Hot Chili Pepper Curls, he said they had an awesome flavor to them and pretty good kick as well. I tried a couple and he was definitely right. All of these snacks from Michael Season's would make great snacks for any time of the day, good to put out for parties, or just keep them to yourself. These are snacks you can feel good about eating and giving to your kids. These snacks are not greasy like some of the traditional snacks that you may be used to eating. I can't wait to try all of the other varieties and flavors of snacks that Michael Season's has to offer.

Here are some great reasons to love Michael Season's snacks:
*All natural*Wheat Free
*Gluten Free
*No Trans Fat
*No Preservatives
*No Artificial Colors*No Artificial Flavors
*No MSG
*They are ALL delicious!

ECO Zip Bags Review and Giveaway

I use a lot of plastic sandwich and storage bags around my house. They are so versatile to use when having to store food or pack things for my oldest daughter's lunches. I also use them around the house for storing small toys, batteries and small health and beauty items among other household items. I know it's really not good for the environment to use so much plastic and I have been looking for a lot of other alternatives out on the market. Hard to believe also just how much these bags cost! I found some really great bags called ECOzip that uses less plastic to make their bags and allows you to use less bags to store and organize. I was sent a variety of bags in a different variety of sizes for review and I was really excited to try these. Anything to make my life simpler and use less plastic, I'm all for it. I use most of the sandwich size plastic bags to put sandwiches in for my oldest daughter's school lunches. Then I end up using another bag for chips and still another bag for carrots or celery. My daughter goes to school some days with three to four plastic bags in her lunchbox with all of her food in it and that's just wasteful. ECOzip bags contain a "Zip and Flip" technology. Each bag has a zipper on each end of it and another in the middle which allows you to say for instance put a sandwich in one side of the bag and maybe chips or my daughter's favorite-cheese puffs in the other side of the bag and fold it into the lunchbox for easy storage. You can close the middle zipper and have the two individual compartments or unzip the middle and have one bigger bag. This is such a wonderful yet unique concept and saves busy moms like me a lot of time, effort and not to mention money. I absolutely LOVE these bags and can't begin to tell you since using them, I have cut way down on using so many plastic bags around my home and it feels really good! I really can't imagine going back to using my old brand of plastic bags anymore! My oldest daughter really likes them too and it takes up less space in her lunchbox and she's really happy about that. I love how I can put her sandwich in the lower compartment and put the toppings like maybe a small piece of lettuce, cheese, and a little individual packet of mayo or mustard in the top and not having to worry about her sandwich getting soggy or the mayo spoiling. Usually she just wants a sandwich with meat and cheese just for this reason, but now with these new bags from ECOzip, she is asking for all kinds of new ideas, it's so much fun! These bags are strong and durable, I thought for sure that using 20% less plastic that they might be a little flimsy, definitely not the case. The zippers are easy to zip and I haven't had any problems with the bag ripping. I am definitely impressed with the quality of these great ECOzip bags.

The fewer plastic bags we use the less plastic production and disposal places on the environment. That's why ECO zip bags are the perfect choice. Producing their bags with 20% less plastic allows them to use less resources to make their bags. The "ECO" in ECOzip stands for ecological and economical, not only does ECOzip allow consumers to reduce their consumption but it also saves them from buying 2 to 3 different size packages. The future is green with a little help from you! These bags are perfect for leftovers, wet and dry snacks, travel, and so much more.ECOzip bags are available at Stop and Shop, Shopko, and Woodman's or you can purchase them on the web. They come in Snack/Sandwich, Quart and Gallon sizes and retail for $3.99 for all three sizes each or you can purchase all three-one of each size for $9.99.For more information, please head over HERE.
