Bored Inc. Review and Giveaway

I love T-shirts and I love cute designs on T-shirts. There is this great little company that I came across by the name of Bored Inc. They have some of the cutest and most unique designs, not only on tees but totes and purses, wall decals, stickers and magnets and accessories and jewelry as well. They also have the most adorable plushes for the kids (or adults) and limited edition prints. I was asked what I wanted to review and I picked a cute little tee for my oldest daughter. Here's the one I chose:

When I got it, she couldn't wait to put it. The material was really soft 100% cotton and the print on the front was very bright and vibrant colors. She wore it to school and came home to tell me all of her friends thought it was really neat. I was impressed with the tee and while looking over all the things that they have to offer on their site, I am impressed with the company as well. Bored Inc. would be the perfect site to find those tough people on your Christmas lists the perfect gift or a great birthday gift for every member of your family. Simone's Home Baked Cookies Review and Giveaway

I recently ran across a great little Etsy shop by the name of Simone's Home Baked. Just the sound of the name alone makes you think there has to be something good baking in the oven. I was definitely right and I was thrilled to do a review! I was sent a bakers dozen of assorted cookies to taste and enjoy. They were sent in this cute little Starbucks coffee tin. My husband thought that the cookies were made from Starbucks until I told him that they were homemade, they were just sent that way! The first cookie I went for was the Pumpkin Chip Cookie, which was definitely a no brainer as I love anything and everything pumpkin. All I can say is YUM, these cookies were so delicious. The combination of pumpkin and chocolate chips was definitely right on the money and they tasted like they had been baked that morning. The next one I tried was the Apple Crisp Cookies and these were by far my favorites! They tasted like a cross between an Apple Pie and flavors of Christmas. They were packed with a lot of flavor and a lot of tasty ingredients not to mention so chewy. SO GOOD! Even better, I put one in the microwave for a few seconds and it was like a warm slice of apple pie, all I needed was the ice cream! I also tried the Dark Chocolate Cranberry Indulgence Cookies, which were very tasty and packed with white chocolate chips, cranberries and nuts. They were so attractive looking too with half of the cookie being dipped in dark chocolate. The Oatmeal Scotchies were another favorite of mine too. Reminded me a little of my late father in law's Butterscotch Chip Cookies, they were really good too! There wasn't a cookie in this little Starbucks box that wasn't good, fresh and you could definitely tell made with love. These are not any ordinary store bought, processed cookie. These cookies from Simone's Home Baked are delicious!

Boogie Wipes Review and Giveaway

Well, it's that dreaded time of year-cold and flu season and especially worrysome this year is the H1N1 Flu. My kids always seem to be sick over the winter months, their little noses always dripping and snotting. I found a great product by the name of Boogie Wipes, I love the name. As a mother of two little girls, I am always looking for new toys and games. I recently ran across a site by the name of Plan Toys. Five For Fighting-Slice CD Review

Once in a while great music or a great album comes along that I just have to talk about. I have always been a fan of Five For Fighting and believe it or not, it wasn't until recently that I found out that Five For Fighting is actually one man- John Ondrasik. One of my favorite Five For Fighting songs is What Kind Of World Do You Want. Superman is also a great song. Five For Fighting's lyrics are powerful, it's messages clear. This new album Slice is another prime example of the wonderful music that John Ondrasik sings, writes and plays. It is a CD full of deeply personal and social messages that envoke your spirit and fill your heart. You definitely have a connection with the artist when you listen to this CD and the music is in part inspirational. Chances is the first single off this new album and I love this song. This is by far my favorite song on the whole album, but the whole album is great. One of the best albums, no lie, that I have heard so far this year. I love to listen to music that will relax me and move me, and this one does all that and more. This is one CD that I recommend you add to your CD collection.
