Friday Blog Hopping and Random Thoughts

Good Friday!  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far and hope the weather is good where you are at.  We have got a ton of snow this past month and are expecting about 3 to 4 more inches tonight into tomorrow morning.  I had to laugh yesterday when the weather men and women were talking about how we were only supposed to get an inch yesterday.  Needless to say, they totally missed the mark and we ended up getting about 3 to 4 inches.  Sometimes I wonder if I could predict the weather better!
Last week, my hubby took me out and bought me a new laptop, which is something that I have been wanting for a long time.  I have been playing around with it and learning how to use it as well as training myself how to type on a little bit smaller of a keyboard.  I am looking forward to writing some new reviews, doing giveaways and blogging more now.  This week also brought a great change at work!  I used to work 4 days a week and never seemed to have time to do things around the house, spend time with my girls and especially do much blogging.  Wednesday, I received news that I would be working just two days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) and have the rest of the week off as well as I also received a $2 raise.  The job I do is very important and I was set to leave my job at the end of June when my aunt was retiring.  It seems that I do such a good job that they wanted to keep me on, so for me this is truly a blessing.  I am looking forward to potty training little one, keeping my house spotless, becoming more active with the oldest one at school, and more active in the church as well as much more blogging!  I have been busy contacting new companies for new review and giveaway opportunities as well.  So stay tuned for many new changes here at Mommy2TwoGirls!  It is going to be an exciting new year after all! :)

Five Question Friday

1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?

I met hubby at work, when I worked at a gas station/convenience store.  He needed a second job to pay for costs he had from a car accident.  We started out as friends (I actually had a thing for a friend of his) and spent a lot of time talking.  It wasn't instantly love by any means until our friendship got deeper and the we started dating.  It was love the first time he cooked dinner for me though!

2. What is your favorite room in your house?

Our living room because it has all of the fun things to do like a big TV, Wii, computer, etc and it is so comfortable with the fireplace.

3. Can you wiggle your ears?

No, I can't at all!

4. What is your evening ritual?

A workout whether at the gym or through the Wii, followed by making dinner, eating dinner, cleaning up, showering the kids,a little computer time, TV time and eventualy bedtime.

5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?

I can function on 6 hours but I make up for lack of sleep on weekends!
