NYAT-Blog Bash Post

I am so excited to be a part of the 1st Annual Blog Bash being sponsored by Not Your Average Teen!  We all love a good party and this is also an opportunity for you to get more followers and meet new friends as well as other great surprises!  To take part and to read a really great blog as well, head on over to Not Your Average Teen and check out all of the details!  Here is a little about me for those of you that don't know me yet:

My name is Eloise and I am a 36 year old SAHM to two little girls ages almost 8 and almost 2 (their birthdays are both in September.  I was born and raised on the Lakeshore of Michigan and have lived here all of my life.  I am married to the love of my life and best friend for almost 15 years (out anniversary is in October).  I joined my church back in April of this year and both of my girls as well as me were all baptized at that time as well.  I am an only child although I do have a sister in law that I consider my real sister, we are really close.  I lost my mother two years ago to diabetes and I lost my father, who was a veteran 20 years ago, but it seems like yesterday to me.
I rely a lot on my computer and absolutely love blogging.  I also love music and am really into all types.  Some of my favorite musicians are Coldplay, U2, Howie Day, The Police, and Alan Jackson just to name a few.  I love to read mostly magazines like Cosmpolitan, Marie Claire and other but I do also love books from authors like Jackie Collins and Dean Koontz.  I love reading gossip magazines and watching Entertainment Tonight, I am a junkie of sorts.  I am also HUGE into reality TV and love Survivor, Dancing With the Stars, and Big Brother.
My family is my life and I would do anything for them.  Recently, hubby and I are going through a tough time with the oldest, but I hear that it's only the beginning, so I am trying my best to be patient but at times it is very hard.  Some people say I have a mild case of OCD, I have to clean the house almost on a daily basis and get perturbed when things are out of place and not picked up.  I think personally it's being a little bit of a neat freak.

Here are some questions and answers to learn even more about me:

Why do you blog?
I blog because sometimes I have a lot to say and this is a great outlet for that.  Also lately, I have been blessed to work with a lot of great companies and people on reviews and giveaways.  It is fun reviewing the products, but even better when I get to reward people too.I also just love meeting new people and blogging has really given me that great opportunity.

What do you blog about?
Family, my girls, entertainment, sometimes sports, product reviews, giveaways, and freebies just to name a few things.  I am sure there is more things that I blog about too!

What do you find to be the biggest reward you get from blogging?
Meeting a lot of new people is definitely the biggest for me.  It is so great to see the different blogs that I have been to and the many people that have stopped by my blog and left some really great comments.  I love to see what people think about my blog and it is definitely rewarding to know that I am doing a good job that people take notice of.

How long have you been blogging?
It has been just over a year as I started in June of 2009.  I just celebrated my one year blog anniversary!

Let's hear the story behind your blog title.:)
Not much of a story and kind of self explanatory.  I am a mommy to my two little girls and thought this was a perfect name when I started blogging.  It just really says everything about me.  Mommyhood is not easy as we all know and at times I want to pull all of my hair out but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am definitely Mommy2TwoGirls for sure.
