Random Line Review and Giveaway

My oldest daughter loves to draw, color, paint and write and I am always looking for new things for her to do when I go to the store.  She has so many activity books in her room that it is sometimes hard to keep track of them.  She loves word search books, fill in books, and especially those fun Mad Lib books, basically anything that will let her imagination run wild.  It is especially hard to find things that will hold her interest especially when we are on long road trips.  She likes to take along books and video games with her, but always complains that it's not fun anymore after a while.  I found a great company called RandomLine that specializes in fun On the Go games and activities as well as board games and Wipe Off Drawing Boards.

I recently had the opportunity to review a couple of fantastic products from Random Line-the Squiggle Ocean On the Go Activity Pad and the Squiggle Style.  When the package came and my oldest realized this was something for her, she got really excited.  She saw the Squiggle Style first and because she is starting to become a girly girl even though she doesn't want to admit it, she took that one out of the box and disappeared with it for a while.  Squiggle Style comes with six dry erase markers in blue, pink, yellow, brown, black, and green.  On the game board, you can pick out the bottoms, tops, shoes and accessories by the spinner and you can draw what you spin.  The possibilities are endless!  I think at one point when I played the game, I had my model dressed in sweatpants with high heels and a halter tops with a bandana, talk about style personified!  Let your imagination run wild which is exactly what my oldest did.  Boy did she come up with some phenomenal outfits and crazy styles of her own!  This is perfect to take along anywhere as well because it is small enough to fit in her bag and doesn't have a whole lot of parts to carry and take out.  Perfect for that long road trip, an overnight at Grandma's house, or to take to a cookout, my oldest has definitely had a lot of fun with this Squiggle Style.

ABOUT SQUIGGLE STYLE-
Bring out the fashion designer in you!  SQUIGGLE Style lets you mix and match clothing and accessories to create your own unique, hip, funny and wild outfits. Imagine your own cool style and let your ideas come to life.  SQUIGGLE Style opens up to a dry erase drawing board, underneath there are6 dry erase markers to choose from.  On the left and right there are accessory wheels and spinners which make for a random selection of garments.  This random selection of shirts, pants, shoes, and accessories is what makes the finished outfit so unique, hip, cool, funny, wacky and wild!
The other product that we received for review was the Squiggle Ocean On the Go, another fun thing to take with us wherever we go.  Each page has one squiggly line and you spin the little wheel on the top to create and ocean creature for example: a crab, a shark, or a seal.  It was a lot of fun to watch the oldest create a little picture out of the squiggle, I even had to try it!  You don't have to be an expert drawer to enjoy this On the Go game from RandomLine.  The great thing is that these On the Go Activity Pads come in different varieties such as sports, educational pads that teach alphabet, shapes and colors, and themed Doodle Pads such as Barnyard, Outdoors, Safari and more.  These are really perfect for my oldest and she has taken both of these great RandomLine products with her just about everywhere lately.

Choose from Educational, Just For Fun, and Themed Doodle Pads.  These activity pads make the perfect travel companions and learning tools to keep your kids engaged and using their imaginations.  Each pad offers a different benefit to help inspire our children.  They are fun to play with individually or with others.  Approx 15 titles to choose from.

RandomLine Inc. was created in 2002 by a dad who loves to play.  His goal is to offer products that encourage children to be creative and use their imagination with no noise and no batteries.  Simply Imagination is RandomLine's motto.

While he was sitting in New Jersey traffic, this creative dad had an idea to create a game based on doodling.  He created a prototype of his first game called Squiggle.  He decided to use his 12 years of experience and expertise in industrial design to start his own company.  After he attended the American International Toy Fair in 2003 with his new product, he established his first big customer.  Since then, RandomLine has successfully created and launched a line of games and activity pads that can be found in over 2000 stores, gift shops, museums, zoos and aquariums as well as Canada, New Zealand, and Europe.

You can find RandomLine products at such stores as ToysRUs, Kiddly Winks, Barnes & Noble, Are You Game.com and many more retailers.  For a list, head over HERE.
The RandomLine of games and activity pads are also numerous award winners including the IParenting Media Award and Dr. Toy Award Winner.  For more information and to see all of the great products that RandomLine has to offer, please head over HERE

Five Question Friday

1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it?  I actually had one of each, a favorite blanket when I was a baby and into my toddler years and a favorite stuffed animal when I was about 7 years old until I was about 12.  My blanket was light blue satin and I used to carry it everywhere.  I would suck my thumb and rub my fingers against the blanket, guess it was something silly I did when I was little.  My Mom told me the washing machine ate it up, but I think honestly she got rid of it because it was so worn out.  My favorite stuffed animal was my Pound Puppy name Wiloughby (someone in our family had a dog that was named this).  My aunt had bought my two cousins and myself each a Pound Puppy when we were young and she named it for me.  I still had it until we moved, now I think he might be with some other lucky kid.

2. Do you dream in color?  I think so, I seem to dream in everything weird, strange and sometimes really good!

3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?  I am 5'6" and to me that is just the right height for me.  I definitely don't want to be shorter because then my oldest would be taller than me!

4. If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?  I don't have a GPS but I would love to either have Peyton Manning be my voice or maybe Justin Timberlake, love those guys!

5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?  Most of the time, I do return the cart to the corral, but there are some times that I really feel lazy and just leave it in the parking spot next to my car.

Friday Blog Hoppin'

Good Friday, hope your weekend is starting off on a good note today!  My favorite time of the week has come, time for some Friday Blog Hoppin'!  There are so many wonderful blog hops out there on everyday, but Friday for me is always the biggest.  If you haven't had the opportunity to try a blog hop yet, what are you waiting for?  I have found so many wonderful blogs that offer some great posts, delicious recipes, fun giveaways and so much more and I have also had the opportunity to find new bloggy friends.  Blog Hopping seems to be all of the rage nowadays and I am so proud to be a apart of it.
What are your plans this weekend?  My hubby and I get to dress up tonight and actually go out on a date to his 20 year class reunion.  I am a little nervous because I don't know anyone as we went to totally different schools, but it should be fun nonetheless.  Tomorrow is his class reunion family picnic and then hubby is off to a bachelor party.  Finally Sunday is for church and grocery shopping.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever you do as well.  Now onto blog hoppin'!

Welcome to Friendly Friday!

Remember, YOU can host the link list on your blog, too! Just click "Get the code here..." at the bottom of the list. The code is different every week, so be sure to get the new code when hosting Friendly Friday on your blog. Hosting the list is a great way to get even more traffic to your blog and make Friendly Friday more beneficial for everyone.

Thanks for joining the Friendly Friday celebration hosted by Xenia at Thanks, Mail Carrier, Christi at Frugal Novice and Charla at Healthy Home Blog! We invite you to join us every Friday to make more friends in blogville, get more blog followers and follow other great blogs out there.

To join in the Friendly Friday celebration, include your link in our list, follow the hostesses in the first 3 spots and then start blog hopping! Visit other blogs on the list and comment to give them some blog love. Then take a minute to follow them through Google Friend Connect - this is a good way to keep up with other blogs, but also lets us show support to each other! Please DO NOT list your giveaways here, links must be to either your homepage or your Friday posting with your blog title. All others will be deleted.

When people comment on your blog and let you know they're a part of Friendly Friday, return the favor and follow them back. This way everyone gets traffic and followers out of participating, and it's a win-win situation. We would love for you to also grab our Friendly Friday button and post it on your blog and/or in a post - the more bloggers that find out about Friendly Friday and participate, the better!

Spotlight on Friendly Friday Followers!

We love your participation and want to show it! In addition to gaining followers, each week we'll select three blogs at random and will feature links and a write-up for those blogs in the content of next week's Friendly Friday post. There are so many seriously wonderful blogs out there, and this will be a great way to highlight some of those each week. Say hello to the lucky chosen 3 for this week (and feel free to stop by and give them a little extra love):

Do you ever wonder if something is just too good to be true? Amy at We're In For It... has the cutest, most well-behaved baby boy named Gage, so she isn't sure how the future live up to how wonderful life presently is. With a son this adorable and a laid-back, conversational writing style, reading Amy's blog is like having a chat with a good friend. From swim lessons to blog design (currently decked out as a birthday present to her husband!) to questions and topics all moms wonder, We're In For It... is always a fun read.

A real-life, real mom looking for ways to make ends meet, Debby at Deal-icious Debby writes about great store deals and coupons that she has found as well as products she enjoys and tips for money-saving crafts and fun projects to keep on budget. Being frugal isn't always easy, but Debby shows that through her deals, garden and cute kids that it can still be possible. Head over to start saving some money today!

A Christian mom and grandmother, Teresa at Too Many Heartbeats writes an extremely moving and informative blog about dealing with her rare and serious illness, Dysautonomia/POTS. A disease of the autonomic nervous system, Teresa's body cannot make the necessary adjustments to counteract gravity when standing up and has therefore left her 100% disabled, homebound and bedridden due to losing consciousness almost every time she stands or sits up for too long. With such an incredible story and positive outlook, Teresa's words will touch your heart through each post.

Now that you know about these 3 wonderful blogs, it's time for you to join in! Add your link below and we'll see you back here every Friday! And don't forget, you can grab the code to share the link list on your blog, too.

All three hostesses appreciate followers through Google Friend Connect AND Twitter and we'll follow you back - just leave a comment with your URL and/or Twitter username. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Pearl Paradise Review and Giveaway

I love to wear earrings and lately necklaces and bracelets too.  I have never really been one to wear a whole lot of jewelry, just the simple pair of smaller earrings and my wedding ring, but lately I have really enjoyed getting "dressed" up so to speak with a nice necklace and maybe a elegant little bracelet.  I have never been one to own a whole lot of nice jewelry, if I needed earrings I would go out and buy one of those multiple packs of the earrings with the small silver ball earrings, a few pairs of the shiny birthstone or rhinestone earrings, and maybe a pair of the fake pearl earrings so I would have a variety.  They wouldn't last too long because I have 3 earring holes in one ear and two in the other, it was something silly I did to myself when I was in elementary school.  It was a time when having multiple holes in your ears was cool, I had two more that I let close.  I am always looking for a nice pair of earrings and actually broke down and bought a pair a couple of weeks ago for a wedding.  There are so many great colors and style of earrings out there in the stores and malls nowadays and especially a great selection at jewelry stores all around the internet too.

I recently had the opportunity to do a review for Pearl Paradise, where they sent me a really beautiful pair of 7.5-8.0mm Lavender Freshwater Pearl Stud Earrings in 14kt White Gold for my review.  Pearl Paradise has the most wonderful and beautiful selection of not only Freshwater Pearls, but also a wide variety of other kinds of pearls such as Akoya, Tahitian, Golden South, White, South, Chocolate, Exotic and so much more.  These pearls are all truly beautiful and at such affordable prices, you can not only afford to get yourself something fabulous, but you can also get a great gift for your mother, sister, or best friend that they will love and cherish for so many years to come.  The Freshwater pearl earrings that I received were a very beautiful shade of lavender.  I wore them to a wedding a couple of days ago and they matched my purple shirt that I was wearing almost perfectly.  I love to wear earrings that are no too big and these were definitely perfect.  I have never had a more stunning pair of earrings before and even opening the nicely packaged gift box, I was awestruck by the sight of them in itself.  Also included in the package of pearl earrings was a cleaning kit to keep your pearls looking their absolutely best and an official appraisal that I keep securely in my fire safe box so I can find it whenever it is that I might need it.  These Freshwater Pearl Earrings are only the highest and most top quality and you could see that by looking at them much less wearing them.  I have sensitive ears at times and have to watch what I wear because my ears can become sore and infected.  Since the wedding, I have been wearing these pearl earrings pretty much every day with no problems and they look fabulous as well.  This has fastly become my favorite pair of earrings and I have gotten so many compliments on them as well.  I would highly recommend Pearl Paradise to anyone who is looking for some truly wonderful, stylish and exquisite jewelry.

Pearl Paradise doesn't stop at just beautiful earrings, oh no!  They have some gorgeous necklaces including Metallic Freshwater Pearl necklaces, Pearl Bracelets, Pearl Rings, Matching Sets, Pearl Bridal Jewelry and even Men's Pearl Jewelry.  Whether you are looking for the standard white, pink/peach, lavender,or multicolor, you are sure to find it here at Pearl Paradise.  Here are a couple of other things that I am letting hubby know I would like for Christmas this year:

Pearl Paradise is the world's largest online pearl company.  They specialize in providing affordable, high quality, classic, elegant, and stylish pearl jewelry designs at up to 80 percent below retail prices.

Their commitment to quality, customer service and unbeatable pricing and selection has helped them to become the internet's premiere source of pearl jewelry with more than 100,000 satisfied customers to date.  Browse their enormous selection of top of the line pearl jewelry (one of the largest pearl inventories in the United States) and find that special gift for your loved ones or the perfect piece of pearl jewelry for any occasion.

Every associate at Pearl Paradise is a world class pearl expert and is trained in pearl grading, selection, matching and drilling.  Every team member is required to complete the Gemological Institute of America's pearl diploma program.  For more information and to see all of the beautiful pieces of pearl jewelry that Pearl Paradise has to offer, please head over HERE.

GIVEAWAY-
The generous folks over at Pearl Paradise would love to give one lucky Mommy2TwoGirls readers their very own pair of 7.5-8.0mm Freshwater Pearl Stud Earrings in your choice of color (White, Black, Pink/Peach or Lavender) (approx value $41)
*Note-Previous Pearl Paradise.com blog winners are not eligible for this giveaway.  Thanks!

MAIN ENTRY-Mandatory and must be done before any extra entries.  Please make sure that your email address is either included in your comments or in your Blogger profile so that I have a way to contact you if you win.

Tuesday Tag-Along button art adapted from the "Follow the Leader" illustration by Diana Jones. I encourage you to visit her at her blog, Sketch & Jones, and her online shop to see more great illustrations and all sorts of wonderful crafts!

Without further ado...
Here's how it works:
  • Create a new Tuesday Tag-Along blog post. Include the Tuesday Tag-Along button by copying and pasting the code above. (You are also welcome to copy and paste these instructions in their entirety, or any portion of this Tuesday Tag-Along blog post!)
  • Add your blog name and the URL of your TTA post to the MckLinky below.
  • Follow Twee Poppets, the hostess blog listed in the first slot. Twee Poppets will follow you back! (Note: If you want Twee Poppets to follow you back, you MUST leave her a comment saying that you are a new follower and leave a link to your blog!)
  • Follow the Blog Hopper of the Week, listed in the second slot. To learn how to be chosen as the Blog Hopper of the Week, read the red text below.
  • If you can, please follow the blogs in the three slots before you (e.g., if you're number 20, follow numbers 19, 18, and 17). This is not mandatory, but it will help ensure that everyone who signs up gets a few new followers!
  • Follow as many other blogs as you want. The more you follow, the more that will follow you back! Be sure to tell them that you're following from Tuesday Tag-Along! You may also want to leave a link to your blog so they can return your follow more easily.
  • When you get a new follower through Tuesday Tag-Along, be sure to follow them back! It's just common courtesy. :)
The weekly Tuesday Tag-Along MckLinky opens every Monday night at 8:59pm Pacific Standard Time (that's 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time), and the TTA blog post will be posted well in advance of that time. The MckLinky will be open to add your blog until 11:59pm Tuesday night. You then have all week long to visit blogs and return follows!

There is a new list every week. The link you enter one week will not carry over to the next week's MckLinky. Please link up again each week to join in the fun!

Tuesday Tag-Along Blog Hopper of the Week:
Note: To be eligible to be Blog Hopper of the Week, you MUST place the Tuesday Tag-Along button somewhere on the main page of your blog or website (and since I'll be checking for it manually, I must be able to actually find it). If the randomly-drawn winner does not meet this condition, a new winner will be randomly selected. If you do not want to place the TTA button on your site, you are still more than welcome to join in the blog hop, you will just not be eligible to be the Blog Hopper of the Week.

Each week, one blog will be chosen randomly from all the links, and that lucky blog will be placed in the desirable second slot for the following week's MckLinky!

This week's lucky blog hopper is #176 - Adventures of the Domesticated Mama. Congratulations!

Let George Clean It-Grills & More Review and Giveaway

I have often said it before, we LOVE to grill around my house especially in the summertime.  Hubby as I often refer him as the "Grillmaster" cooks anything and everything on the grill from hot dogs to steaks and most recently a whole pork tenderloin that was absolutely out of this world.  We love to grill veggies and even some fruit, haven't quite gotten him to try the grilled pizzas yet, but it's coming.  With as much as we cook on our grill, it has definitely taken a beating and as you can imagine all of the dried on sauces and sticky charred pieces of whatever that is stuck to the grate.  Even though hubby has a grill brush and cleans his grill grate before each use, there are things that just don't come off with the brush alone.  I recently found a great site called "Let George Clean It", yes indeed it is THAT George, Mr. George Foreman.  It was no surprise to see that the inventor of the George Foreman grills that we all know, love and use on a regular basis, OK, (maybe not all of us have one but we should right?), would make cleaners for not only the grill but our homes as well.

I was sent a Grills & More package that included a big bottle of the Grills & More spray as well as sponges and a funnel.  What was impressive to me upon receiving this package is that the 32oz concentrate can make up to EIGHT 32oz bottles of spray, which it also comes with a spray bottle to mix up your cleaner.  I was really excited to start using this and hubby was really excited when I showed him what it was.  He said now he could have a shiny, clean new grill!  I mixed up a bottle of spray, which was super easy with the funnel.  Hubby immediately went to work using one of the handy dandy and super cool sponges that came in the package and the Grills & More cleaner.  First of all, it smelled really wonderful with it's special formula of lime essential oils. The best thing though it that my hubby's grill has never looked better.  Not only did he use it on the grill grate itself, but the rest of the inside and outside as well.  Even though his grill is about 6 years old, it has looked the best it has since the first day he had it, no joke.  This cleaner is safe and easy to use and it doesn't stop at just grills, oh no.  You can use it all over your house for countertops, stainless steel, aluminum, and washable painted surfaces.  I love the scent around my house after using this cleaner, so fresh and clean and really makes things sparkle.  I would highly recommend the Grills & More Cleaner to anyone, it is a wonderful product.

George Foreman Cleaners come in varieties for your house and automobiles in addition to the Grills & More cleaner.  Their line of green cleaners have the cleansing action to penetrate and dissolve grease, oils and dirt.  Their solutions life and suspend soils, allowing easier and faster removal of dirt and grime.  They also leave no residue allowing for a cleaner surface as well as a cleaner living environment.  Nowadays, with children and pets around the home, having a cleaner and greener solution to cleaning makes for a safer environment without all the smell of harsh chemicals.  George Foreman himself knows that from being a father and grandfather the importance of caring for his family as well as the planet in which we live.  The Keep It Green & Clean line of cleaning solutions are just that, family safe and earth friendly.
